The L-shaped living room and entry hall are quite spacious. Combined with the doors opening to the grounds and the country decor, the home is airy and bright. The bedroom with two single joinable beds is slightly smaller than others.

Shopping and Dining: The closest restaurant and grocery store is in Petraia, a 5-minute drive. Within a 15-minute drive, Cortona offers a variety of dining and shopping options.

Open Air Markets: In Cortona and Arezzo on Saturday mornings.

Sites To Be Seen: In Cortona the Museo dell Accademia Etrusca, a museum filled with pieces from the 4th to the 15th centuries. The highlight of the museum is the 4th century BC bronze oil lamp chandler. The 16th century Medici fortress, many gardens and views from this historical fortress are not to be missed. Many more museums and churches rich with history embody Cortona.

Festivals: "Sagra della Bistecca": On August 14-15 Cortona celebrates the Chiana Valley beefsteak with holding a huge communal barbecue in the Parterre Gardens.
