750 metres above sea level, the walled hamlet of Montesanto is the site of a fifteenth century castle, parts of which are still standing: a reminder of the local historical heritage. There is a permanent population of 11 residents!!

Residence Vallemela - an architectural joy - sits with history behind it and the stunning Umbrian coutryside before it. For those of you wanting to completely get away from it all, this is as near perfection as you could imagine.

Sellano, the nearest town, is 8 kms away and has all the main amenities: supermarket, butcher, restaurants, pharmacy, emergency medical services, post office, bank, bars, petrol station, public telephone and bus service.

If you fancy a drink or a pizza, there is a pub 9 kms away on the banks of a nice little lake where you can also go fishing in the season.

Guests can enjoy the breathtaking view over the valley from a well-tended garden where it is easy to find a secluded spot to read a book or drink a glass of fine wine. The apartments share a gazebo, barbecue and swimming pool (5 x 10 m), all set in panoramic surrounding..

Mezzanine: a roomy kitchen with living/dining room with one single sofa bed. First floor: one double bedroom, one single bedroom, one bathroom with shower. All windows have mosquito screens.

Valnerina and the Sibillini Mountains National Park are very close to the apartment - far away from mass tourism, you can explore the sights and scents and serenity of this very, very special part of Italy.
 

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 single and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Kitchen/dining room. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television satellite/cable.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

For the third time we spend our holiday in umbria, in one of the wonderfull residences of Paolo. Two years we stayed in Villa Rosy and this year in residence Vallemela, Montesanto. A wonderfull stay. Excellent accomodation that gives you the possibility to enjoy even more the environment so wonderful you can not express in words. I'm sure we'll meet again! This place is really phantastic. We spent three weeks in may and june this year and enjoyed it so much, that we simply know we will come back. It´s not only the superb situation of this house with its view into the landscape and the colourfull nature around.
