All of which make for a most relaxing, stress free holiday. Although everything is within walking distance there is a circular bus service if required. A car therefore is not essential. 

Casa Terras Altas is a traditional Portuguese villa set on three floors which makes for an ideal base for more than one family providing plenty of privacy, if required! Four twin/double bedrooms, large lounge with balcony and views over pool and garden, dining room with balcony and similar views. Fully equipped kitchen plus daily maid service provided (excl weekends).

Secluded, tree lined garden has a very large swimming pool plus a smaller baby/paddling pool. There is an outside kitchen with fridge and dining area with a barbeque for dining al fresco.  

Beachfront restaurants and bars overlooking the Atlantic Ocean are the norm at Vale Do Lobo plus a great chinese at the tennis academy and superb golfside restaurant at Spikes. Further high class eateries within a five minute drive, including those at Quinta do Lago. You will not be able to visit them all in one visit!!!

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 3 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a summer house, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, walking, golf, tennis, a sports center, a restaurant.

Close to the villa you will find horse riding, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a zoo, a themepark.

KEITH says: "THE PROPERTY WAS EXACTLY AS WE EXPECTED IT TO BE,BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED AND SET IN A QUIET AREA OF VALE DE LOBO.EVERY HOUSEHOLD CONVIENIENCE WAS PROVIDED AND BOTH SWIMMING POOLS WERE PRISTINE. THE ONLY MINOR DRAWBACK FOR US WERE THAT OUR CHILDREN WERE UNDER 3 AND THE AMOUNT OF STEPS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE MEANT THAT WE HAD TO BE EXTRA VIGALANT,OTHERWISE OUR STAY WAS UNFORGETTABLE"
