A spacious cottage with wonderful panoramic views of village below and the Stara Planina mountains beyond,overlooking pool. Fall in love with beautiful Bulgaria just as we did. We are situated in a quaint farming village but close to Elena which is a cosmopolitan town restored in the style of the Revival period and popular with tourists of all nationalities.
A car is essential to explore the surrounding area ,full of waterfalls,rivers ,monuments and monasteries.
The village has its own bar and general store stocking essential food supplies. In the summer there is often music and dancing in the bar.
Elena has a plethora of traditional mehanas serving bulgarian cuisine 

 

 

The cottage comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the lounge. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The cottage has television video. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Close to the cottage you will find fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find climbing, horse riding, historic sites, a theatre/cinema.

Kevin says: "I stayed at Rose Cottage with my girlfriend, Mel, for two weeks in September. We originally came for just one week but loved it so much we stayed on. The villa itself is furnished to a very high standard and, with the wood-burning stove, is very cosy on cooler evenings. Paul and Caroles dogs, Bonnie and Rosie, also made themselves at home with us, making us feel all the more at home. Paul and Carole were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of advice on things to do and see in the area which was invaluable. They even had a splash about in the pool with us on one particularly memorable evening."
