Paul says: "We had a great week at the apartment. It was a good time of year to go. We had planned to travel a lot but there were plenty of bars, good food and a good selection of pools for the kids. The apartment is over a supermarket but it didnt bother us as we were up early everyday anyway and it was useful to get groceries so near. We particularly liked the fact that everything was so near and we didnt have to trek around getting taxis into Vilamoura. The English bar was a few minutes away which served good food and was excellent value for money and the kids played pool there every night. The other good thing about the apartment was that there were loads of toys and things for the beach like balls, bats, surf boards which people had left, so you dont have to spend a fortune buying for the sake of a week. The surrounding gardens were lovely too. The only downside for us was all the steps which was a bit of a problem with the buggy but everything else was great."
