DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSE
Perfectly situated on the outskirts of beautiful Glengarriff Town in West Cork, Dalewood Holiday Homes are the ideal choice for
your holiday.

Each of these bright and modern holiday homes has been designed to the very highest standards. The spacious open-plan dining cum sitting room is tastefully furnished and contains electric fireplace, comfortable suite of furniture and television.

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric oven and microwave. 
THE ACCOMMODATION (3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 5)
Each of the houses can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two single bedrooms -one with a guest bed.

There is a main bathroom upstairs with shower and bath and a guest toilet downstairs. The houses are conveniently heated by electric central heating and there are storage heaters in each room.

The houses have a small back garden and there is ample private parking available. 
LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Glengarriff - An Gleann Garbh (the rugged glen) is a name derived from the rugged beauty of the mountains and wooded valleys surrounding the village. Indeed there are many magnificent views of mountains and valleys from many viewpoints, which hug the coastline that leads
into Glengarriff.

Glengarriff is a gateway to the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula and is a picturesque village with all the charm of West Cork.
There is a fantastic selection of shops, traditional bars and restaurants to choose from in this charming village where you will find a traditional warm West Cork welcome.

- Garnish Island
Garnish Island, otherwise known as Ilnacullin, is located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff. It is a small island of 15 hectares (37 acres) known to horticulturists and lovers of trees and shrubs all around the world as an island garden of
rare beauty.

West Cork is an angler's paradise. Deep Sea fishing, shore and game fishing are all available and sea trout and salmon can be caught in Glengarriff River.

You will need to bring along your own towels. ** Electricity for heating and lighting is an extra charge and is payable on departure. Andrew says: "The property although pretty new is already showing signs of wear and tear. The description was pretty accurate but be aware that a security deposit is required and towels are not provided contrary to the website description. Well situated houses, but not a lot of privacy. All in all fair value for the price but not luxurious."
