Our Apartment and the town
Mosonmagyaróvár is a historic town located in north west Hungary. It lies approximately 30 minutes from Bratislava, 45 minutes from Vienna and just 90 minutes from the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Mosonmagyaróvár is an ideal location for sightseeing in these beautiful cities.The town has friendly, welcoming people. It is quiet and safe and has a relaxed atmosphere. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants in the centre of the old town plus a wide variety of shops including gifts, clothes and supermarkets.The town has it's own world renowned thermal spa and is listed as one of the top five in Europe. This is just a few minutes walk from our apartment.
Our studio apartment is located in the heart of Mosonmagyaróvár making it very easy to access the town's attractions including dentists and thermal spa. Our ground floor, one room apartment comprises a small entrance hall, large living space with two double size comfortable sofa beds and a private shower room with WC. There is also a well equipped fitted kitchen.

What to see
Mosonmagyaróvár is in an ideal location to explore not only the beautiful cities of Bratislava, Vienna, Gyor and Budapest but also has many local attractions of it's own. These include the local thermal spa, that is considered to be one of the top 5 medicinal spas in Europe, many shops (with prices typically a third of UK prices) and numerous bars and restaurants where you can sample traditional Hungarian cuisine. Being just 30 minutes away, it’s well worth planning a full day for the historic core of Bratislava. Enormous effort over the last decade has produced a charming setting of authentically restored architecture, in which a wonderful array of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops have taken up residence. There are numerous public parks, Old Town Squares, and of course the mesmerizing Danube where you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Cultural highlights include St Martin’s Cathedral, Bratislava Castle, and the Bibiana children’s museum.
