Fethiye

Fethiye is 12kms from Yaniklar, and is a bustling traditional Turkish town, with plenty of atmosphere and ambience. In Fethiye you can stroll the beautiful harbour, take boat trips, (including day trips to Rhodes), shop abundantly, eat in a huge selection of restaurants, drink in the many bars and dance the night away.

This harbour town offers the regions best shopping, with boutiques, fashion stores, supermarkets and patisseries. Fethiye is famous for its fascinating historical sights both in the town and along its surrounding coastline. Visit the beautiful old mosque, recently excavated Telmessos amphitheatre, amazing Lycian rock tombs and the grand Amyntas Tomb.

There is also a huge market each Tuesday in Fethiye that sells everything from leather goods, clothes, spices and food all at bargain prices.

PLACES TO GO

TWELVE ISLANDS - The Twelve Islands (oniki adalari) is an area of islands between Fethiye and Gocek. The only way to enjoy them is to cruise in a Turkish gulet or take a tourist daily boat trip. Gulet cruises provide access to the tourist-free secluded bays where you can snorkel, swim, climb the cliffs or just relax.

ÖLÜDENIZ - This is the famous beach and blue lagoon that features on every travel poster of Turkey.

SAKLIKENT GORGE - This is a spectacular 18 km. gorge cut into the Akdaglar mountain.

KELEBEK (BUTTERFLY VALLEY) - This valley is named after the hundreds of Jersey Tiger Moths that live in the limestone canyon every summer. From the beach you can climb up the stunning waterfalls of the national park.

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
